My clients humble me. And every couple of years, I get the honor & privilege to shoot an entire family’s share of weddings. By the time I’m done I feel like I’m a part of their family and I just feel so lucky that they put their trust in me to capture some of the most intimate and memorable events in their generation. It’s amazing. I shot Megan & Scott’s wedding earlier this year, and her sister Summer’s wedding last year. Both girls, so beautiful in their own way and surrounded by such loving parents, family & friends. Have I mentioned yet that I feel lucky to have captured both of their weddings? Because I do, my heart is so thankful to have families like theirs as clients.
Some weddings take my breath away. And Scott & Megan’s surely did. I arrived on this perfect September day and stepped foot on the grounds of Sunset Cove in Pinckney and literally gasped out loud. What an incredible venue this is, decked out to perfection at the hands of Megan, her mom and her incredible florist. Everything down to the cake, the handwritten menus and even the most incredible fall sunset was more than I could have ever asked for their wedding day. We shot their Love Shoot over the summer in downtown Howell and it was equally as magical. I knew their wedding day would not disappoint. Every single detail was handmade and it was pulled together perfectly. The grounds of Sunset Cove are bold & rustic. It sits on the Chain of Lakes just outside of Dexter. It’s truly a gem of a wedding venue, and I look forward to shooting there again later this year!
