Isn’t it a little crazy how the Universe is always looking out for you? I’m a firm believer in this. Enter Brittany & Kevin. I love these two. How they met, their intricacies, their connection. And although I’ll be shooting someone else’s wedding on their wedding day, I was thrilled when they still opted to have a Detroit engagement shoot with me. Don’t worry, they’re in great hands with another trusted and talented friend for wedding day photos. But I love how the Universe still made it work so our paths would cross and we could get to know each other.
And that’s just what we did! We met at the place where they’ve had dates and fell in love, Cliff Bell‘s in Downtown Detroit. Yep, I met them there as they were trying to drink away the nerves before their shoot. Which is always recommended, by the way. (wink) and it was helpful since we started all cuddled up in a corner at a local bar for a few images. Talk about jumping in head first.
But these two were just so awesome, sweet and a ton of fun as we strolled through the streets and over at Wayne State which also happened to be Kevin’s Alma Mater.
I’m sad I won’t be there on their wedding day, but I know in just the short time we were together that it is going to be an incredible day. Here’s a peek at Brittany & Kevin’s Detroit Engagement Shoot.
