I’m a photographer because I’m a storyteller. I’m a photographer because I relish in looking at old pictures and remembering what that moment actually felt like. Perhaps, the biggest day of your life or a time when you had the future in the palm of your hands. They are meant share with family & friends, and grace their walls and desks, too. And though that may sound a little dramatic, I’m speaking from experience. Having time with the people we love is one of life’s greatest gifts. Having prints to pass along the generations is surely a treasure. Don’t you agree? And it’s just so hard in the digital age when our favorite moments live in our devices. Trust me, I get it. I’m right there with you, and I know the struggle is real. But the space that brings me so much joy in my home is my own gallery wall going up my stairs. It is full of my favorite black and white images of my family living our lives. And it makes me so happy every single day.
