HOW IT WORKS

The PROCESS

initial meeting

We can meet initially over coffee either at my Ann Arbor Studio or via Zoom or Skype to see if we are a good for for for eachother.

booking

We can book in person during our initial meeting, or after you've made your final decision. From there, our contract & deposit to reserve your date is all done either in person or securely online.

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS

Once you're booked, you will have full access to my calendar to schedule your own appointments, calls & engagement shoot.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

delivery

This comes with a delivery of our style guide and wedding magazine to help you plan and prep for things as best you possibly can!

Your wedding gallery containing all of your beautiful images will be delivered at 8 weeks via link with viewing, ordering & download instructions.

Frequently asked questions

Do you shoot film or digital?

I shoot both. I prefer the ease & sophistication of my digital camera bodies, but cherish the quality & timelessness of medium format film that come from my Hasselblad. I will shoot on 2-3 different cameras on your wedding day if the conditions are right to get a well rounded look that gives me the best resulting images.

how many hours will you be at our wedding?

My clients typically book for 8-10 hours of coverage.
This will put us there as you're getting ready and keep us there until the dance floor opens for your guests and
for dancing into the night. How much coverage you'll need will vary from client to client. Because there are so many beautiful moments that happen before & after the ceremony,
I'll help you with your timeline to make sure
I'm there for all of them.

DO YOUR TRAVEL?

Absolutely, and I love when my work brings me to exciting locations! I've shot weddings in Mexico, California, New York, Chicago & Florida just to name a few. My travel & accommodations are built into a custom collection for you. If you're thinking of planning a destination wedding, please contact me for full pricing. There are no additional travel fees for weddings within 50 miles of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Will we own the "rights" our photos?

I always own the rights to all of my work. It's part of standard creative works & copyright laws. You will have fully edited digital negatives or "files" from your wedding day delivered via full resolution download along with a Print Release. This will give you full permission to print your images for personal use, and archive them to your personal computer to share & enjoy for years to come.

do you offer albums?

Yes. My albums are made right here in the US, and are a great way to show off your beautiful wedding images. Because I know how busy life can get after a wedding day, I pre-design an album for every client, and deliver the proof along with your gallery.

what forms of payment do you accept?

As a fully insured business I accept American Express, Visa, MC, Discover & personal checks. All payments are processed via a secured online processor.

what are the next steps to book?

First, get in touch using the inquiry form below. We'll meet or have a call to answer all of your questions. A 50% deposit & signed contract is then due to book & reserve your date.
