Each year, a few really beautiful shoots slip through the cracks and somehow don’t make it to the blog. Usually, once wedding season gets started, things sort of blur together until about … oh … mid November. Just like this one, with the Nix family. I shot Elysia’s senior pickers a few years ago, and although it was senior pictures, it was a family affair with mom & dad joining us for her shoot and me loving every minute working with them. Lisa & Nate and their whole family are just those kind of people … good people, and I’m so lucky to have them as clients.
So when they called me last fall to shoot a generations portrait session, I jumped at the chance. We had the most perfect light, a weeping willow and piles of smiles & laughter. Oh the gorgeous Anthropologie couch that Lisa plucked from her living room was just icing on the cake, trust me.
Here’s a peek.
