It’s really here. Summer is finally here. All of those frigid winter days with snow smacking you in the face and sub zero temps are long gone and have been replaced with warm summer nights. Nights where the sun casts a glowing spell on you and forces you outside to enjoy the sounds & sights of the city, laughter with friends and walks by the lake. And that makes my heart sing. Especially for shooting people in love, like Megan & Scott. I met these two last year, when I shot her sister’s wedding. At the time, I secretly knew of Scott’s plan to propose to Megan. And I was honored and thrilled when I found out that I’d be shooting both of their weddings. These two will be tying the knot in a quaint outdoor ceremony at Sunset Cove, a beautiful Bed & Breakfast just outside of Ann Arbor. It’s going to be a great day!
I met Megan & Scoot at their home in Downtown Howell and we headed uptown for an hour of shooting. Downtown was buzzing with summertime activity, long lines at the ice cream shops and plenty of kids outside taking advantage of the warm weather. But we managed to find a few quiet spots where we could shoot around and spend some time together. Here’s a peek.
