I will never be able to listen to that rendition of Nat king Cole’s classic love song without being taken back to John & Jennifer’s wedding day, when he got up and serenaded her just following their toasts and in a room full of people who have supported their love and stood by their side for all those years. It one one of the most romantic moments I’ve seen as a wedding photographer and I felt so darn lucky to be there to witness this love they share. The day was certainly full of family & friends from both sides, but truly felt like they had all been one family already for years. Their love came together in a simple, old fashioned way as love should. And their wedding day was no different. When I met these two in my office many months ago for their consult, I was smitten with their gentle & kind nature and knew their wedding dat at the Pine Knob Carriage House was going to be amazing. Since their wedding date fell just 3 days shy of my own, I knew I had to open up that weekend and be there for these two. And I’m so glad I did.
