I am so (freaking) excited to share this Madison Events Wedding here on the blog today.  But even more than that I’m so excited that I’m finally able to share these with Jane & Josh – some of the most incredible clients that I’ve worked with. I can’t say enough kind words about how wonderful they & their families have been to work with.

Their families came together from both coasts of the continent, and met right here in our very own Motor City for a celebration they’ll never forget.  Despite the rain, clouds and quite lackluster weather we had on their day, you would have never known by the vibe coming from these two. And that alone, speaks volumes as to who they are and how excited they were to start this new life together.  Ok, Jane keeps it together like the cool cat she is while Josh … well, he’s just one of those guys who wears his heart on his sleeve.  And of course being in front of the camera is just a breeze for him as he anchor’s for KABC Chanel 7 out in L.A. There was no hiding his excitement to marry his love, Jane.

Their day started out at the eclectic Detroit Foundation Hotel along with with their closest family & friends. Jane’s suite was abuzz with hair and makeup from Todd Skog of Todd’s Room in Birmingham. The guys were ready for a few shenanigans in the lounge before heading downstairs for the signing of the Ketubeh and formalities. Once we had those under way, we set up a first look for these two and stole a few moments of our own in their suite. Dodging puddles and raindrops was the theme of the day  as we headed over to the rooftop of the Madison Building where their ceremony was (originally) going to take place.  Alas, Mother Nature had other plans and a last minute decision was made to have their ceremony in the auditorium underneath a hand crafted Chuppah.

Their reception was the perfect setting with modern florals from Gerych’s Flowers and lanterns strewn about. Dinner & dancing followed beautiful traditions, as guests toasted to their happiness and strolled around the building for a look at some of the most epic views of the city.  Jane & Josh’s Madison Events wedding will surely go down in my book as one to remember.  Here’s a peek into their wedding day in The Motor City.
