I’m renaming fall the season of love. Seriously, I would love to know the stats on how many people met and fell in love in the fall. The crisp cool air, the glowing sunsets and cozying up in leather, sweaters and boots. I just love it all.
And it’s also the season that I shoot the majority of my Love Shoots. Crystle and Craig got in touch with me earlier this summer, and were sent to me by some of my favorite clients and friends, Meg & Daniel. Thank you many times over for sending them my way xoxox. Craig was in Megan & Daniel’s wedding a few years ago and I hadn’t made the connection until we met last weekend for their shoot at The Detroit Institute of Arts. These two have a wedding in their future, but as young professionals are waiting until life settles down a bit to set a date and start planning the wedding of their dreams. They met as students at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, and are both working as Industrial Designers. Clearly, creative types their Love Shoot was planned at locations that really spoke to who they are and Detroit was a natural choice. I looooved shooting these two. Our time together was nearly effortless, both in their connection and in capturing who they are. I honestly, loved spending time with them and shooting them and I was sad to see it come to an end. Here’s a peek at our time together.
