There are some clients that make their way into my life in beautiful and heartbreaking ways. Don’t worry, no need to grab the tissues. This is a happy post. And if you know even just a little bit about me and my outlook on life, it’s that happiness is a choice. Even in the face of heartbreak and loss, you somehow find your way back to happiness. I have lived and breathed this philosophy and I know with certainty that Kristina has too. I’ve been shooting happy moments in her family for years. First, her baby sister Nina’s senior pictures, followed by her sister Francesca’s wedding day. Many other family weddings and events. All of these girls, all three of them have a light that shines so bright. And now that one of those lights shines down on us from up above, their light down here on Earth is even brighter. Whew, I somehow was able to type that without losing it here at my desk.
And now it’s Kristina, Derek and Adrianna’s turn to be the stars in front of my camera for their wedding that is in the works for next summer. It’s going to be such an amazing day with a room full of beautiful faces. We spent some time a few weeks ago and explored some of my favorite Anna Arbor locations. We knew ahead of time, we had to include Adrianna and I’m so glad I got to reconnect with her during our shoot. Derek and Kristina have such a beautiful and long standing story as a couple, they’re a natural fit and it seems all the moments that have brought them together here were always meant to be. And that is so beautiful.
