Zingerman’s Cornman Farms Wedding
Intimate weddings … oh you will always have my heart. Honestly, I love them. I’ve shot handful of them, and each one is permanently marked in my memory. Under a tree, only 4 guests, courthouse nuptials, intimate dinner, your closet of your close family & friends as your witnesses. It just doesn’t get any better. Like Vanessa & Jason’s intimate Zingerman’s Cornman Farms wedding that I shot late last year. I’m thrilled to be able to finally post it here on the blog in between my own wedding clients.
I have a confession. When we originally looked at Dexter as a possible place to raise our family & buy a 100 year old house, I already knew that Dexter was swarming with some pretty incredible wedding venues, and some of my favorites to shoot at. Zingerman’s Cornman farms was one of those incredible venues. And they do intimate weddings with such a fine eye for detail, experience at the hands of one of the most talented chefs in the business, Chef Kieron Hales. With fresh flower picked and arranged by Amanda from their very own gardens, and perfect little cake from Zingerman’s Bakehouse, the day is complete with everything you need to eat & be marry as they say.
Because let’s be honest, at the end of the day food is a love language, too.
I had the pleasure of being commissioned for a few of Zingerman’s Cornman Farms Intimate weddings in 2016. Although they happened to fall on some of the rainiest dates in my recent memory, they were still beautiful nonetheless. Like Jason & Vanessa, who decided to begin their new adventures as husband & wife surrounded by their closest & dearest loved ones.
