Patrick & Crystal: A Detroit Engagement

I met Crystal & Patrick at Belle Isle for their engagement shoot a few weeks ago on a most perfect Friday night.  Everywhere we went, we ourselves surrounded by incredible light.  These two are getting married next summer in Downtown Plymouth, and they couldn’t be more laid back about their big day, and I feel so lucky to be their photographer.  They make such pair, and I was instantly connected to their loving energy, laid-backness (is that even a word?) and laughter.  Here’s a peek at our time together in Detroit.

P.S. Am I crazy or has this fall been especially kind to us?  The light, the temps, the color of the leaves … all of it.
