Nick & Lauren have set their roots down in Ann Arbor where they were both students and decided to call home. It was important to them that both their engagement shoot & wedding day were a perfect reflection of their story. And I’m happy tp say they perfectly were. Their Michigan League wedding earlier this fall set the stage for their store to be told in the most authentic way.
These two have been such incredible clients. They are sweet & kind, and such a joy to have in front of my camera for our time together. Lauren has an infectious laugh and smile, and I absolutely love clients like them.
Lauren & Nick spent the morning with their friends getting ready at The Graduate Ann Arbor, and for their first look. It was all hands on deck, and if I remember correctly, a groomsmen even had a full makeover complete with transformative haircut and shave before we left to head out for portraits! After their first look, we hopped on over to a few locations Lauren & Nick had picked out before arriving at the ceremony at The Michigan League.
Once we arrived for their ceremony, we took a deep breath and witnessed these two exchange vows and share a few intimate moments under the handmade backdrop in one of the ballrooms at the League. Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony, complete with a first dance serenade by a close friend (and former groom of mine!). Jennifer & John sent these two to me, and amazing clients always send more amazing clients. I’m truly honored. Besides, there is nothing like live music performed by a friend for your first dance as husband and wife.
