As the old saying goes … third times a charm. Yes, this was the third attempt to shoot Sarah and Derek’s downtown Love Shoot after a few rainy Thursdays. But our wait was well worth it and we ended up with a perfectly beautiful night to shoot against the urban landscape of Royal Oak. Sarah is one of two sisters that I get to capture for their wedding day as her sister, Lauren is getting married next month. And let me tell you these girls are beautiful, ambitious and I’ve just loved working with them and their family in planning their wedding day.
Sarah, Derek and I spent a few hours this week shooting, telling stories, talking of wedding day details and just getting to know each other. Their love is sweet and playful, and I loved shooting them. I can’t wait for their big day. Here’s a peek from our time together.
