I love getting to know people and how they met. I love hearing all about their “story”. But honestly, my favorite part is watching their faces light up when they tell me their story. After chatting with Debbie about their Love Shoot and locations that we had in mind she mentioned that they love breweries, and they love Detroit and would like to shoot down there on the riverfront. So I got to their shoot an hour early and scouted a few locations for us to shoot in. And while driving down by the river, I turned the corner and saw this little garage opening to a warehouse looking building and discovered that it was the “back room” to the Atwater Brewery. And that the light pouring into it was delicious. So when John & Debbie arrived for their shoot, I mentioned it right away saw them light up. So that’s what we did. We were invited right in by the owner who welcomed us to shoot inside for as much as we wanted to. It was pretty cool, I must say and I’d love to go back and shoot again there soon. We also hit a few of my other favorite locations and shot right through until the sunset behind the Ren Cen at Rivard Plaza. I can’t wait for their wedding day this September in Grosse Pointe. It’s going to be a great day, and one I’m looking forward to! Here’s a peek at their shoot.
