What’s not to love about The Motor City? It’s no secret that I love everything about it. And I love when I get to work with clients who share the same affection for our great city. And so is the story of Dana & Joe. They both work for different non-profit organizations that benefit the people and community of Detroit, the live there, spend their time there and it’s that commonality that brought them together. For their Love Shoot, Joe gave me the Grand Tour of all of his favorite spots much like he did when he first met Dana. We met at my favorite spot, Great Lakes Coffee and from there we chatted for a bit before heading out into the bitter cold. We also visited where they had their first date, where he proposed and I loved getting to know these two. We drove around the city together and I got to hear all about their passions and the story of how they met and some of their first few dates. What stuck out most is when Joe said “When I met Dana, I knew right away she was the girl for me. Any girl who can hang with me & my friends in some of my favorite spots around the city is my perfect kind of girl.”
Dana, you are so beautiful, and you are in fact perfect for each other. If your Love Shoot is just a glimpse into what your wedding day is going to be like … lots of dancing, laughing and soaking up the city … then it’s going to be one that I’ll not soon forget. I hope the Roostertail knows what they’re in for, because it’s going to be quite a celebration! Here’s a peek at your shoot.
