Hello & Happy New Year! It is officially a brand, new spanking year and I’m excited to pick up right where I left off with some incredible late fall weddings. Like Kari & Lance’s who’s Mill Creek Wilde wedding over on the West side of the state was just wonderful. This will actually be one of two incredible weddings I shot at Mill Creek Wilde Barn that weekend, so brace yourself for a flurry of images at the same, beautiful location. Are you ready?
Lance & Kari are so kind, so sweet and I’ve just loved working with them and getting to know their gentle hearts, story and families. From their engagement shoot here in Dexter and in Ann Arbor to their wedding day, every moment has been a pleasure. They wanted a casually beautiful venue to exchange their vows and had their sights set on an outdoor ceremony where they could take in all the sights of the fall colors and nature, and that is certainly what they got. It was all hands on deck for this one, with personal touches throughout, fall treats and sweets and the prettiest flowers at the hands of Marco Alexondra Floral out of Indiana. This color palate of rich reds, hints of deep blues and airy hues came together so beautifully. It was such a perfect touch inside this rustic barn.
These two did get to carry out their vision of an outdoor ceremony despite the dipping temps that settled on a cool 40 degrees that weekend. We narrowly escaped the rain that we left behind back in Ann Arbor, thankfully. Here’s a peek at Kari & Lance’s wedding dat at Mill Creek Wilde.
