I love meeting my clients for the very first time on their wedding day. Sometimes, with travel work and their busy schedules it just works out that way. So although I had talked to Krista over the phone, I was floored when I walked into her suite at The Athenaeum Detroit and saw her beaming with excitement to be marrying Alec. These two wanted a Detroit wedding through and through, complete with a full mass at the amazing Cathedral of Most Blessed Sacrament on Woodward, a tour of the city with their bridal party and a timeless reception & entertainment by The Jerry Ross Band at one of my all time favorite venues, The Colony Club. I’m proud to be one of their preferred wedding vendors and their staff is incredible to work with. Despite the freezing temps, I ventured downtown along with my great friend Sarah Kossuch, who helped me shoot this beauty of a wedding. It was such a great way to kick off 2014 & I was honored that Alec & Krista chose me to capture it all for them. Here’s a peek at their beautiful wedding day.
