Hannah & Kiel have a pretty amazing story, having traveled all the way to Paris when they were younger, only to realize they were a good match, fall in love then travel back home and start a new adventure together. I have truly loved every minute working with them from their engagement shoot in Downtown Ann Arbor to their Lovett Hall wedding earlier this fall. They had a perfect fall day as they got ready at The Edgar Allen Poe house on the grounds of The Dearborn Inn. A first look started off their wedding day at Lovett Hall and we just loved witnessing some of the authentic moments that unfolded between these two. After our first look, we hopped into a Model T for portraits in & around Greenfield Village and used some of my favorite spots including Cotswald Cottage. Since their wedding date was just as the trees and colors were peaking, we took full advantage of the tree lined streets before heading back for their ceremony.
Hannah & Kiel’s Lovett Hall wedding & reception had a classic & timeless feel with all the makings of a quintessential Henry Ford event. Details were kept simple to let the rooms tell their stories as well. Dinner & dancing followed and I’m pretty sure, after looking around there wasn’t one person that didn’t hit the dance floor for at least a song or two.
