I adore shooting other photographer’s weddings. There is just something that is really unique about the entire experience. Not only do they generally have an acute attention for detail, but they are meticulous in their planning. They also know the importance of capturing the moments and tend to build the entire day around making sure they get images that they’ll cherish for a lifetime. Jessica and Ryan’s rustic fall wedding at Misty Farms was certainly no exception. It was a sunshiny day, Jessica simply beautiful, Ryan looked dapper as ever and I knew it would be one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever shot. The entire soiree was coordinated by Jessica and pulled together by Courtney of Petals Planning Co. and her incredible team. Every last detail was so well thought out, down to the striped straws and home made baked pies from Zingerman’s Bakehouse. I felt so lucky to be a part of this day, and have my friend and fellow photographer Kendra there to help me capture it all. And I’ll also let you in on a little secret … Jessica’s dress. You may recognize it. She actually bought it from one of my spring brides, Libby and made it her own. It was so perfect for her in every way and Jessica was glowing from the inside out on her wedding day. Again, I can’t say enough about how lucky I felt that she chose me to shoot her and Ryan’s big day. Here’s a look.
Jessica also hired one of the best videographers in the business, Eric from Epic Motion. They were incredible to work with, and I really felt like I was working with a dream team of wedding production.
