You know which seniors are really my favorite kind of seniors? They’re the ones who inspire me. They make me want to be a better person, open up my heart a little more, do more for others. Just like Kenedy. She is an inspiration to other kids her age who have been challenged with a disability. She’s walked in their shoes, and now she’s sharing her strength with them. She is someone that they look to for hope, for guidance and she is an amazing example of courage and perseverance.
I was thrilled when her mom, Carrie contacted me because she is also a very talented photographer based in Tecumseh. She could have at any point shot her own daughters senior pictures, but instead chose me to capture the essence of Kenedy. And I think we did just that on a gorgeous summer night out in The Irish Hills. Thankfully, Carrie has some killer location scouting skills and had the perfect locations lined up and ready to go. I loved them all, and we had a great time together shooting right through sunset. I loved everything about working with these two, and our shoot together was one of my favorites this year.
