Is it just me, or is this year already flying by so quickly? I’m back to an almost normal shooting schedule and just so excited to finally get a chance to know my clients a little better for their engagement shoots. I had more than a few brave couples this year that had their hearts set on winter sessions! Which is super exciting because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and puts me in a new & exciting environment.
Amy & Tim are Michigan & Indiana natives, but their story started in The Windy City. Isn’t life incredible that way? And so we traveled out there on a gorgeous weekend in February, no less to make it happen. We planned it purposefully around Valentine’s Day so that we could all be out there for a fun weekend. Joey & I stayed the weekend as well, and these two took me around to some of their favorite spots. They were staying at the Chicago Athletic Club, so we started there before heading over to Millennium Park, under the L, Cindy’s Rooftop and even in the exact spot where they had their first kiss and later proposed.
