I'm a photographer, small business owner, girl with big dreams and a wild heart. I'm a multi passionate, self - made female CEO. I'm a writer, connector and educator, and I'm obsessed with my tribe of crazy & inspiring humans who fill my life with so much purpose.
Since I started mentoring, teaching photography and helping others build their businesses in 2009, I've been hooked on helping others dream big and manifest their wildest dreams in business and in real life. I have a strong sense of vision, whether I'm behind a camera or a laptop. I'm one of those people who spends my free time living life out loud and daydreaming. The big dreamers are the future, and this is one of my best virtues.
I actually graduated from college from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Psychology, and though life took me in other directions, human behavior & personality have always fascinated me. Enter the Enneagram Test. This one, simple test revealed more about my identity, what motivates me and how to best serve myself in less than an hour. It has been an incredible experience to tap into my potential and realize what sets me back over the past 6 months.
I'm a 3, The Achiever. My values are rooted in achieving my biggest goals and feeling genuinely valued by those around me. I'd love to connect with other 3s, so shoot me a message after you've taken the test.
In 2014 my life took a drastic turn and our family suffered a massive loss. My husband of 15 years and father of our children (ages 2 & 7) passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest.
Our lives were forever changed.
Ele’s Place is a non-profit, community based organization dedicated to creating awareness of and support for grieving children and their families.
Our vision is to ensure no child in Michigan grieves alone.
Ele's Place was founded in 1991 by a group of mental health professionals, concerned community volunteers and grieving parents, Betsy and Woody Stover, following the death of their daughter, Following a great deal of research of other children's grief centers across the country,
It was determined that peer support for kids and teens who had experienced the death of someone close to them, was the best way to learn to cope with their feelings of grief, sadness, anger and loss.
My children & I attended Ele's Place Ann Arbor for weekly group support for 3 years after our loss. Since that time, I have dedicated myself to helping other children & families in need of grief support. A portion of the profits in my business are shared each year with this incredible organization.
